Wireless Internet in the residence halls?

Wireless Internet is available in most, but not all areas of the residence halls. You can view wireless access maps here to see whether or not wireless is available. You will need to use your University Internet ID and password to access the wireless network. If you are experiencing errors with wireless service, please call the 1-HELP support line to help identify dead zones.

Gaming over the wireless network

When wireless Internet is available, residents can connect to the wireless networking using a gaming console that supports WPA2 Enterprise. More information on gaming systems within the Resnet network.

Using routers

Wireless router or NAT devices are not allowed on the Resnet network (see Resnet user agreement). However, most wired NAT routers are allowed. View a list of University-recommended NAT devices here.
